Why does lidding material need OTR and WVTR barriers?
Air, Moisture and UV are the mortal enemies of freshly ground coffee. Deterioration starts as soon as the roasting process is done, and increases after the grinding process.
OTR and WVTR barriers ensure your coffee doesn’t go stale within one to four weeks.
A lot of coffee out there has a misleading shelf life. More than we’d like to know has already developed mold and is still being sold to consumers.
What do you mean by adjustable pre-infusion?
Our lidding material can be customised to fit a company’s unique filling-line, coffee blends, grinding specifications, and specific capsule of choice, resulting in the specific pre-infusion supportive of the desired and needed quality extraction.
We can adjust the pressure required for the opening of the lidding itself. We can use the lidding itself as an additional parameter to enhance the quality of coffee extraction.
